Mary
Rascon is an artist who possesses an
eye for color, shape and design with
a background in hairdressing and
make up. For over 20 years on the
main line, she has been dedicated to
her clients’ personal enhancement.
Mary C. Rascon is owner and director
of Changes, A Wellness Salon & Spa.
The doors of her facility opened in
1997 in Ardmore, PA. In 2001, the
Spa expanded to 5 treatment rooms
that now operates 6 days a week.
Prior to the 1997 opening, Ms.
Rascon’s resume includes being
recognized as one of the Top 200
Fastest Growing Salons in the United
States for 6 consecutive years. Due
to her distinguishing qualifications
as a teacher and an expert in color
and cosmetic applications, she has
been named in the National Registry
of “Who’s Who”.
Previous to her success as a
corrective hair colorist, Mary
started early training as a Beauty
Control Cosmetic Coach. After
mastering her skills she opened her
first salon. Three years later Ms.
Rascon moved to a larger space and
has expanded two more times since
the initial move to main line. She
believes that her success is
attributed to her integrating beauty
and medicine. Her realization is
that the medical field is necessary
to heal, but they don’t have the
time to nurture. This has made her
co-exist with two physicians that
are part of her staff to provide a
psychological and physiological
balance. Her Spa and Salon has been
recognized by Elle magazine for
excellence in corrective hair color!
The Philadelphia Magazine awarded
her spa as “The Best Intimate Day
Spa” on the main line and most
recently, Main Line Life Readers’
Choice for “Best Day Spa”. Countless
other awards hang on the walls of
her well-appointed facility.
Teaching has been a passion of hers
and has facilitated others in their
careers to travel on a successful
path of helping others.
Ms. Rascon’s education in permanent
and corrective cosmetics is known
world wide by surgeons, medical
staff and world renowned tattoo
artists. In addition, she was
trained with state of the art
European digital technology. Mary’s
continued courses focused on
advanced areola pigmentation.
Understanding color and balance is
fundamental in bringing out a
client’s best attributes and Ms.
Rascon’s preciseness in this area is
unsurpassed, it comes naturally to
her, she is not only a technician
but a true artist. Her result is
achieved through the blending of
artistic sense of color and shape,
shaping and contouring with the
science of precision, hi-tech
equipment, skin chemistry and facial
morphology. Efficient and
professional, she prepares your
